Abstract
ETD-MS export plugin for interoperability with NDLTD and Library and Archives Canada. see: http://www.ndltd.org/standards/metadata/etdms/1-0/etdms.xsd This version includes the parameter that makes it visible as an OAI metadata format: $self->{metadataPrefix} = "oai_etdms"; In older version of EPrints (3.1-3.2), this was set in /cfg/cfg.d/oai.pl instead.
Installation
unzip and place ETD_MS.pm file in /opt/eprints3/perl_lib/EPrints/Plugin/Export/ place z_etd_ms_identifier.pl in cfg/cfg.d/ place z_etd_ms_fields.pl in cfg/cfg.d/ Input your library identifier in z_etd_ms_identifier Input custom simple fields into z_etd_ms_fields.pl Currently, the only custom simple field is the publisher. LAC requires <publisher> field, but many institutions do not have publisher field filled during thesis deposit. As a result, the publisher is filled in by the <institution> field. This is specified in z_etd_ms_fields.pl restart apache
