Abstract

This is an improved version of indexing.pl which seems to provide huge speed increases in indexing full texts. I wrote it last night, so don't assume it's bug free (although indexing is pretty easy to redo). This will (after more testing) become the stanard indexing.pl but it won't change existing configs, so people will need to install it by hand.

Installation

Place in /opt/eprints3/archives/ARCHID/cfg/cfg.d/ (replacing existing indexing.pl) The restart indexer.
