Abstract

CGI script to import data from an OAI record, operable by individual users.

Installation

Drop this file into /cgi/users/. This allows users to cut and paste the URL of an OAI GetRecord request and then it gets the data, and creates and populates a new eprint in their inbox based on the values in the oai_dc. Not hugely useful yet. Example OAI Record URL: http://eprints.ecs.soton.ac.uk/perl/oai2?verb=GetRecord&metadataPrefix=oai_dc&identifier=oai:eprints.ecs.soton.ac.uk:1234
