Abstract

This set of import/export plugins allows you to rapidly work with MARC records in both USMARC and MARC-XML formats. The plugin features a central configuration file which allows you to modify and add new mappings and the use of subclassing. [PLUG-IN HAS BEEN MADE UN-AVAILABLE DUE TO BUG WHICH CAUSES MASS RECORD CREATION - NOT A SECURITY BUG DIRECTLY]

Requirements

* Knowing what MARC is and how it may help you * The MARC::Record and MARC::File::XML CPAN modules * A working GNU EPrints * A SAX parser correctly registered

Installation

Uncompress the EPrints-MARC_0.1.tar.gz file in your /usr/share/eprints3 directory (tar xzf ... -C /usr/share/eprints3), copy cfg.d/marc.pl to your archive's cfg.d, configure according to your needs and restart your webserver.
