Abstract

SNEEP Comments give the community of repository users a facility to discuss the items within that repository directly within the context of the Eprints's item page. Each and every item can be commented on and those comments viewed by any logged-in user (though Admins and Eprint owners may disallow comments on particular Eprints). Comments might be used, for example, to record opinions, or to provide space for informal peer review. Comments allow the item metadata record to become a dynamic description that will change according to the reponse of the repository community over time.
