Abstract

This set of scripts allow people to remotely create publications from web pages. One needs to add a single HTML line to include the Remote Uploader onto their pages. Any users can then select a file, set a title and send this information to the repository. The authentication is carried out by the "classic HTTP dialog box", in order to minimize phishing attacks.

Requirements

None, this should work on a vanilla EPrints. Use of HTTPS is recommended as username/password are sent to the repository.

Installation

Un-tar the package to your archive root directory (eg /opt/eprints3/archives/ARCHIVEID/) and have a look at README.remote_uploader.
