Abstract

The code and configuration provided integrate EPrints with external authentication systems via the webserver, offering Web Single Sign-On (depending on external capabilities). This allows for a choice of authentication and authorization systems and (optionally) enables fully automated on-access provisioning of EPrints user accounts.

Requirements

External authentication system with a module for Apache httpd, e.g. Shibboleth, CAS/mod_cas, CoSign, Pubcookie, WebAuth, Kerberos, or any other mod_auth_* module.
