Abstract

Downloads data from the webservice and either creates a new eprint, or adds the ethosId to existing harvested eprints.

Requirements

Tested against EPrints 3.1.1 Requires perl modules: SOAP::Lite LWP Archive::Zip Time::Local

Installation

Put the 'ethos' file in ~/bin/. Put the 'ethos.pl' file in ~/archives/ARCHIVEID/cfg/cfg.d/ EDIT THE ethos.pl file with the correct login details for your institution. Check the perl path at the start of the 'ethos' file is correct for your setup, and if you connect to the internet through a proxy, set this up too (search the file for 'proxy').
